The Ministry of Citizen Security of Mexico City implements traffic and security measures for the festivities of Saint Jude Thaddaeus on October 28, ensuring the peace of worshippers and visitors.


Security Preparations for the Celebration of Saint Jude Thaddaeus

On the occasion of the annual celebration of Saint Jude Thaddeus on October 28, the Secretary of Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City has implemented a traffic and security device to safeguard the thousands of visitors who will attend the temples of San Hipólito and San Casiano.

Due to the arrival of worshippers, traffic has been closed on Avenida Hidalgo and the lateral of Paseo de la Reforma heading south. The SSC Traffic Orientation Center highlighted: “The arrival of visitors to the Church of San Hipólito continues due to the annual celebration of Saint Jude Thaddeus.”

To ensure safety and facilitate traffic, drivers are recommended to use the following alternative routes: Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas, Avenues Chapultepec, Fray Servando Teresa de Mier, José María Izazaga, Doctor Río de la Loza, Inner Circuit, Insurgentes, Eje 1 Norte, Ricardo Flores Magón.

The Secretary of Government of CDMX mentioned that they are following up on the preparations to ensure everything is in order and coordinating with different government areas to guarantee the tranquility of both the worshippers and those passing through the area.
